Ryten is a deservedly popular objective, adored by hikers and a superb objective for a run. The views from the top down to the idyllic Kvalvika beach are sumptuous. Take care on the path up, as the cliff edge is never far away... and it's very steep.

This beach's uniqueness lies in its location: surrounded only by high mountains and inaccessible by land except via a trek that climbs a mountain. Perhaps it's its inaccessibility, or the contrast between sea and mountains, or the colors that enchant you once you reach your destination, the fact remains that it's a remote place.
