Once a former royal estate, Nystøga is now a beautifully restored guesthouse that welcomes hikers. Its traditional wooden buildings and peaceful surroundings make it perfect for a break or an overnight stay.

Set to the east of the massive Hurrungane range, Skogadalsbøen is a cabin for lovers of all things wild. Known simply as 'Bøen' by those who've become enamoured with the place, it's over 8 miles (14 km) from the nearest road. It lies at the meeting point of Skogadalen and the famous Utladalen, Norway's deepest valley and the home of Vettisfossen, one of its highest waterfalls.

A recommended stopover for a hut-hopping tour through Jotunheimen National Park. Several other huts are easily accessible within a day's hike.

Haugseter Fjellstue is a Mjølkevegen Partner business that offers accommodation in rooms and cabins as well as delicious home made food. A great place to stay the night or for a good meal and a rest. Boat rental for fishing (trout, license can be obtained on location) and a nice place for a swim in the lake.
