Byvann Dam is a peaceful spot surrounded by lush forests, offering a scenic retreat just outside the city. The dam regulates the clear waters of Byvann, creating a tranquil lake perfect for a short break or a refreshing nature walk.

Perched on a scenic hillside, Halvorsenhytta offers a breathtaking panoramic view of rolling forests, sparkling lakes, and distant mountain peaks. Enjoy the view from those benches.

Dry firewood and a grill grate are available at this fire and grill area. But first check the regulations on site (see photo) before you use the fireplace!
