This is a charming picnic area on the shores of Nevelvatnet. There's a fine loop around the lake, the Nevelvatnet Rundt, while a hike up neighbouring Nevelfjell takes you to the highest point in the Lillehammer municipality, at 1,089 metres (3,573 ft).

When the lift is open, you can take the chairlift up like the jumpers and enjoy the great panorama over Lillehammer.

There are two more picnic tables upstairs, even if one is already very shaky. It is also easy to get to the water here and there are a few sun loungers to dry off.
