Tandalier Castle is located in the village of Schwemmberg, part of the municipality of Radstadt in the Austrian state of Salzburg. The castle's history dates back to 1519, when it was first mentioned as the Tandalier estate. In 1569, an existing farmhouse was converted into an unfortified Renaissance castle. The building changed hands several times in the following centuries, including the Counts of Schernberg.

The ensemble includes the St. Anne's Chapel, the Lourdes Chapel, the Market Chapel, the Tannen Chapel, as well as the Dechanthof and Dechanthofstadel (Dechant's Courtyard). It is believed that Altenmarkt's oldest church lies beneath the present church and was built in the second half of the 9th century. The church was likely damaged during the Peasants' War (1526) and subsequently significantly altered through repeated additions and reconstructions. From 1867 to 1875, the church was extensively restored in the Gothic Revival style.
