The Evangelical Lutheran Mandal Church (Mandal Church) is a wooden church in Mandal, Lindesnes municipality in Agder county, Norway. With 1,800 seats, it is the largest wooden church and one of the largest wooden buildings in Norway. The church was built after the great fire of Mandal in 1810 and consecrated in 1821. Before the fire, a 15th-century stone church stood on the old market square, where the former town center was located. There is a free car park here, which is the starting point for great hikes and visits to the lighthouse area. For 300 NOK you can even spend the night here with a mobile home and also get admission for two people to the entire area around the lighthouse. A good combination offer, in which a lot is offered!
