An exciting bunker complex from the Second World War. Parking is free. The walk from the parking lot to the bunker complex is approximately 1 km.

Galleon figure from a sailing ship named after the Roman goddess Concordia, which was purchased from a shipyard in Stavanger in 1925 and assembled here in the park.

The charming place is located in the southern part of the island of Karmøy. This was of great importance at the beginning of the herring fishery in the early 19th century and the old town center is still well preserved today. The old town, i.e. the area around the main street Søragadå, consists of very well-preserved houses and warehouses from the mid-19th century. This part of Skudeneshavn was listed as a historical monument by the Norwegian National Monuments Agency in 2018. At the top of the main street Søragadå we are welcomed by the figurehead “Lady in the Park”. At the Skudeneshavn Museum we learn more about the city's diverse history in an authentic setting.

If you follow the signs for Borgenviskaret, you hike a beautiful path to Hest, past a waterfall, a natural stone staircase, tons of sweet blueberries, a small climbing rock with a rest bench and ...

At the entrance to the park you will be greeted by the figurehead "Lady in the Park".

Skudeneshavn is one of Norway's best preserved wooden towns.

There is a little more to see here than at other WWII positions

The battery on Fjøløy was part of the Stavanger-Nord Artillery Group, which was formed in Stavanger in April 1940 and consisted of the three batteries on Randaberg, Kvitsøy and Fjøløy. The command post was on Kvitsøy. The battery was part of the German defense system that defended the entrance to Stavanger from the north through the Boknafjord and from the North Sea.
