This is a nice place to take a break, although we were shocked to see that some visitors had carelessly left their rubbish here. They were definitely not Norwegians!

The parking lot is not far from the road, but it is not marked and cannot be seen! There is only one trail sign on the road.

It is possible, with a bit easy climbing on level with the river, to get to the bottom of the waterfall without getting wet feet.

The two main towers and the formative appearance of the church, completed in 1894, are unmissable and adorn the cityscape of Skien. Inside the church itself, visitors can admire impressive stained glass and stone glazes, as well as one of the most impressive organs in the country with around 6,000 pipes.
