The Myriapode is an important land art piece near Ellezelles in Walloon Picard. It is a structure 4.5 meters high and 11.6 meters long, made of woven wood. Inspired by the shape of a centipede, it fits perfectly into the forest landscape. The artwork serves as a place of rest and reflection for walkers and cyclists on the RAVeL and offers elevated seating and shelter. The artwork is part of a series of six landscape artworks installed in the Pays des Collines in June 2023. The ensemble was realized by the collective Bowerbird (Wolfgang Bregentzer & Bram Vanhoff) in collaboration with JNC International, as part of European INTERREG projects.

The area around Mont-de-l'Enclus is known for its rolling hills and vast forests, making it perfect for hiking. The forests are rich in deciduous trees such as oak and beech, but you'll also encounter pines and conifers.

On the horizon, between the green fields, you can see the church of Kwaremont looming. The Sint-Amanduskerk in Kwaremont has a rich history that dates back to 1119, when a chapel was first mentioned. In the 14th century, a crossing tower in early Gothic style was built, which was later raised in the 17th century. The current church was rebuilt in 1788-1789, while retaining the tower, and renovated after damage during the Second World War.
