Beautiful long sunken road👏👏

The exterior of the building has been renovated somewhat. Instead of the war past, the school past is now discussed with a kind of desk artwork. An information board on the side wall tells you more about the museum and there are still some changes.

Perfect place for a picnic: the lawn at the third pond (the other two are not allowed) and a beautiful picnic spot at the back of the park. Pop Up Bar with terrace open Wednesdays, weekends, public holidays and school holidays.

For those interested: the brick wall of the small parking lot behind the church, as well as the wall of the house next to it, has several bricked-in old gravestones, crosses and memorials. Also view the expressions of gratitude and tributes from veterans, family members and organizations entered in the monument for the war victims.

Depending on the direction you take at the intersection of smaller roads, the paths turn into normal paved surfaces (towards Goetsenhoven, for example) or sandy paths. Also look at the panoramic board nearby.
