Via a short but tiring slope you reach a viewpoint on Lake Virelles, where you also have the Aquascope. Opposite the bench on the blue walking trail you can continue a few meters in the direction of the lake. There you have the best view, which is also marked on the map as a viewpoint.

AquaScope Virelles is a nature reserve in Virelles, Belgium, known for its rich biodiversity and educational programs. The center is also an excellent place for birdwatching, both for groups and individuals, and offers unique experiences such as a night in a hut by the water or a silent excursion at dawn on the lake. AquaScope Virelles is a gateway to the new National Park Entre Sambre Et Meuse and aims to raise awareness of nature and environmental protection. The AquaScope has a small restaurant and is therefore the ideal place before or after a walk in the area.

The AquaScope Virelles is located directly at the lake and invites you into direct contact with the protected fauna and flora thanks to different viewpoints and boardwalks along the water. Great site, beautiful body of water, beautiful walks. If you go as far as Lompret, the Eau Blanche restaurant is very good, remember to book in advance as it is very popular.
