Combination of 2 walks from Redu. The start begins with the blue walk. This sometimes goes quite steeply downhill to the Lesse, which has a steep drop there. Below we then go onto the yellow walk over a small "ruisseau" via a (rickety) bridge. The walk runs from there (loop-shaped) completely through the forest, back to the bridge. From there back over the bridge and onto the second part of the blue walk. That part runs on asphalt through the village of Lesse and uphill again just past the ESA space centre, from where the end point Redu appears again.

The walk starts from the book village of Redu. The walk is called Passage des Chèvres and is perfectly signposted. The start is near the ESA space centre and at Séchery you end up in a beautiful forest. During the hunting season you should definitely keep an eye on the dates of the hunt. The route runs almost entirely on natural paths.

Since Easter 1984, when the first rare and second-hand book market was held in the Ardennes, Redu has welcomed book lovers from all over the world. One of the keys to its success is its beautiful location in richly vegetated nature. That is why you can enjoy pleasant walks in the streets of the village and in the forests that surround it at any time of the year. Today, the village has about fifteen bookstores specialized in the most diverse subjects in different languages: nature, literature, history, travel stories, music, archaeology, comics, children's books, etc. You will also find artisans, shops, temporary exhibitions, coffee shops and accommodations. Those in the ship represent the resurrection with the transition from ashes to fire. Also worth seeing are the two rose windows in the sacristy and the rood loft. The polychrome altar and lectern were made in 1981 by Jean William. They represent both the patrons of the church and the life of the village. You can also see many statues there: Saint-Pierre, Saint-Paul, Saint-Michel and a wooden Virgin dressed as a queen. Source mini-ardenne.be

Mirwart, a sub-municipality of Saint-Hubert, in Belgium, is part of the Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie (most beautiful villages in Wallonia). It is a picturesque village, surrounded by nature, where the farms and half-timbered houses have managed to retain their characteristics of yesteryear. An omnipresent nature In Mirwart you will find the Domaine provincial de Mirwart, which offers 1350 hectares of exceptional fauna and flora: you will find dozens of fish ponds, a forest with different types of trees, the rivers Lomme and Marsault, beehives and some historical heritage scattered here and there in the area. in the middle of the forest (bridges, a blast furnace from the 16th century, an ice cellar from the 19th century...). In the middle of this unspoilt nature, the walks invite you to relax and disconnect from your daily worries.
