Delicious ice cream, and the farm shop next door sells meat, sausage, juices, and ready-made meals. I brought home the lasagna. It tasted great.

Only a very slight incline, mostly through shady forests.

The church of Hermeton-sur-Meuse, dedicated to Saint Remi, is a neo-Romanesque building erected in 1911 and later repainted in 1967 and 2006. This church replaced the old church from the 17th century, which was located slightly higher in the middle of the cemetery and has since been demolished. The presbytery dates from 1909 but was restored after the First World War. The new church was designed with a jubé in the choir. The region's red marble was used for the main altar, which is decorated with a radiant Christ carrying the cross, surrounded by stained glass windows depicting Saint Peter and Saint Paul. The white marble side altars are dedicated to the Virgin and Child and to Saint Joseph and the Child (red marble from the 18th century). A wooden statue and a painting from 1725 represent Saint Remi, the patron saint of the parish. The baptismal font, decorated with four corner heads, dates from the 17th century. The church is accessible to people with reduced mobility and has a magnetic loop for the hearing impaired.

The church of Hermeton-sur-Meuse is an interesting starting point for walks in the region. It is located in a village where the Hermeton River flows into the Maas. The church itself was built in the Romanesque Meuse style in the 11th century. It is a neo-Romanesque building that was built around 1913 and later repainted around 1967. The Hermeton Valley is known for its wild nature and the hiking trails that run through it, some of the trails can be adventurous and require the assistance of ropes.

Very few cars, passing through villages frozen in time. Very good asphalt, legendary descent with peaks above 80km/h. Beware viper in summer halfway.
