Located at 1609 meters, on one of the highest peaks of the Jura, the hotel's views of the plateau, the Alps and the Three Lakes are breathtaking. Sit on the terrace or in the dining room to refuel after a walk in the Chasseral Regional Park. The hotel is easily accessible by bus, car or on foot, along one of the magnificent hiking trails.

Small town at the foot of the Chasseral. The late Gothic church of Saint-Maurice was built in the 16th century in the shape of a Latin cross based on the Valangin collegiate church; the church tower dates from the 17th century. There is not much to see when driving through the small village of Chézard-Saint-Martin, but the church still stands out. The current building of the parish church of Saint-Martin, which was mentioned in 998, dates from the 17th century. The church was restored in 1993-1994. In the center of Chézard in particular, some characteristic farms from the 17th and 18th centuries have been preserved. The schoolhouse between Chézard and Saint-Martin was built in 1901. Here at 1400m above sea level you have reached the tree line and you already have a great view and the destination in sight.

If you come down from Chasseral, you can turn left after the village of Nods towards Enges. You will warm up again a bit when you climb the 120m. At the top you have a view of Lake Neuchâtel and can then plunge into the descent. It is a leisurely 500m downhill with a 6-8% gradient over 8.8km to Saint-Blaise. You can just let it roll :-)

Beautiful harbor on the north-east shore of Lake Neuchâtel with sailing boats and a few yachts. You can also watch many wind sailors and surfers at their activities. A small cafe invites you to take a break. The harbor is definitely worth a photo stop.
