On the descent from Laad to Wattwil, a section of the asphalt road can be ridden on 3 shorter trails (marked hiking trails) (section 1 easy meadow trail; section 2 short meadow trail on a steep slope; section 3 mainly forest path with individual steps).

The **Restaurant Pier 8716** is located directly on Lake Zurich and offers pizza, meat and fish dishes in a modern, relaxed atmosphere. The large terrace with a view of the lake is a highlight and also makes it an ideal place for a coffee break during a road bike tour. Please note: Winter break from December to February. Trail at its best, especially in autumn with lots of wet leaves and lots of slippery "surprises" :-) Traces of the last storm have been removed and the Brüggli has been renovated very well in the last few days. Big praise and thanks to everyone from the bbTrails association and helpers!

There is no Chrüzegg here, just the Chrüzeggalp. The Chrüzegg is not at the restaurant, but a little further west up at the Chümibaren.

Old covered wooden bridge in a very special shape with bay windows and turrets. Newly installed on a new concrete base, basically an absolute horror, has the monument preservation authorities approved this??

You can't see it in the photo, but it's a wonderful swimming spot in summer. You can walk up the canal a little bit here, go into the water there and let yourself be dragged down.
