The Cascade de Blangy is a beautiful waterfall located in the Forêt Communale de Hirson in Aisne, France. It is a popular place for hiking and nature lovers, especially in spring when the waterfall is at its most beautiful.

Very nice circuit partly on the Ravel and in the heart of the Belgian countryside with very pretty landscapes. No big difficulties. I did it in 2 hours with an EAB.

Very quiet, wooded and well-developed cycle path. I'll be back 👍

From the Maas behind Dinant (B) to Hirson (F), the route is over 50km along an old railway line with a moderate gradient through a very beautiful, forest-rich landscape. It is a much better alternative than the EUROVELO 3 from Namur via Charleroi to France.

The Blaimont viaduct is an imposing railway structure built in 1856. This viaduct, 135 meters long and 26.5 meters high, with its eight arches, was erected to allow the railway to cross the Eau valley White. Using materials extracted from local quarries, it narrowly escaped destruction during both world wars.
