Rest areas, restaurants, and cyclist-friendly businesses make Grein an attractive destination for day trips as well as longer cycling tours along the Danube.

The town boasts a picturesque, historic town square lined with 16th- and 17th-century houses featuring Baroque facades. The entire place exudes a nostalgic, tranquil charm.

Booking a guided tour here is definitely worthwhile. A room entirely covered in mosaics made of Danube pebbles or the diamond vault are truly impressive. That alone is worth it.
