Augustinian Abbey on the Meuse River, whose origins date back to 1075. The complex features an impressive corner tower, gateway, abbey church, dovecote, watermill, brewery, and other outbuildings. Later, it also housed a tax collection house and the abbot's palace. Today, it's a large school complex that can be very busy on a Wednesday afternoon.

El Minîre is a tough guy with a steep first kilometer, after which it continues to climb with an average of 6%+. Unfortunately, after that you come to the busy Rue de Spa.

Despite the fact that the Trasenster Nord is easier than its western brother, the Trasenster Ouest, it is more popular. This is mainly due to its easier location. The climb starts directly from the village of Nessonvaux. In the village, simply follow the signs towards Trasenster. The start is immediately beautiful. It climbs steeply and you are treated to a beautiful hairpin bend. You make your way up between the houses at an average of 6-7%. After the village of Trasenster it gets a bit steeper, but after that the real climbing is over. Don't forget to enjoy the beautiful view on the right side of the road. The last kilometre climbs very quietly. Experience: Nice if you are in the area, because a fairly pleasant percentage and a nice length. The surroundings are not great, there is almost always some construction. The road surface is not disturbingly bad (for Wallonia). Traffic is not too bad, but it is indeed a road that is wide enough to be overtaken.

Impressive church, and not only because of "Li Rondia", the round stained glass window at the back, one of "The Four Wonders of Huy" Among other things, the large stained glass window behind the altar and the ceiling are at least as worthwhile. At the moment, there is an exhibition at the back of the church of a series of statues that together represent a Way of the Cross. They were commissioned by a priest who has since died in a car accident.

A visit is essential here. The Notre-Dame and Saint-Domitien collegiate church indeed houses a prestigious treasure within it. Go into the crypt and you will discover many medieval sculptures as well as precious period fabrics.
