Meaning: The name is a compound of "paap" (referring to the Catholic clergy) and "moer" (peatland). It indicates a piece of moorland that was historically owned by the ecclesiastical authorities, specifically the Abbey of Tongerlo. Location: Papenmoerstraat is located in the northern part of the municipality, near the border with the Netherlands (Rucphen area).
