De Kwaremont는 오랫동안 Ronde Van Vlaanderen에 포함된 오르막길이었습니다. 당시에는 자갈길이었습니다. 이 오르막길이 아스팔트로 덮인 후 RVV에서 사라졌습니다. 그 후 새로운 Kwaremont와 평행하게 놓인 Oude Kwaremont를 발견했습니다.

Transfo is a former power station. It first supplied electricity in 1911 and remained in use until 2001. The municipality of Zwevegem purchased the site in 2004 for a symbolic euro and is now working on its repurposing. The most spectacular project is perhaps the reconversion of the oil tank, which is to serve as a training location for deep-sea divers.

Nice climb in the forest of Hubertmont. Not too steep. Road surface is not great.

Nice and fairly steady climb from Saint-Sauveur. Don't forget to look back for a great view!

Nice location on an old Schelde arm. The café is dated but the drinks are not expensive. In the summer there is a terrace available. There are many local customers but also many cyclists and walkers.
