Le Bivouac is also the name of a brasserie (café-restaurant) located at the parking lot and near the bivouac on the grounds. And it's also at that building that the highlight is located. The bivouac itself, as others have described, is located a bit further away, behind the fence on the grounds with the hill and lion. Anyone familiar with the region, or driving to the Lion from, say, Lasne, can't help but be impressed by the beautiful rolling hills that, without the dense development, would undoubtedly surpass the beauty of the nearby grape-growing region. His panorama of the Battle of Waterloo is, as Willem says, 110 meters long and 12 meters high. The canvas depicts many well-known scenes from the battle. You see the Hougoumont farm burning (which you can also walk to) and, of course, you can also see the main characters.
