The Sella di Monte Mario offers a splendid glimpse of the junction between the Setta valley and the Reno valley, unfortunately partially spoiled by the horrible presence of the Autostrada del Sole. It can be reached from three routes, one of which is exclusively pedestrian, all very challenging due to the considerable slope and/or rough terrain, but the view repays the effort.

The top of Mount Calvo is... bald, and this allows the view to sweep wide and caress with the eyes the ridges that descend towards the Val di Zena.

Monte Mario, despite its name, reaches "only" 466 m asl and is the hill that dominates the city of Sasso Marconi

Almost 360 ° panoramic view, if you don't want to work too hard to go up, use the paved road, then get off the singletrack. Made with 90s mtb without suspensions or disc brakes, given the slope in the middle of the descent I stopped to cool everything down, not recommended if it rained a lot in the previous days, a lot of sun exposure (no trees), but as long as you go down it is all bearable
