Rifugio Rinfreddo is a cozy mountain hut located at an altitude of approximately 1,887 meters at the foot of the Col Quaternà. It is suitable for both day trippers and overnight guests. The warm hospitality of the owners is particularly well-known. The area surrounding the hut is ideal for hikes and mountain bike tours. There is a parking lot nearby. Departing from Rifugio De Doo with the rental bikes was a fantastic experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, helping us choose the bikes that best fit our needs and providing us with all the information we needed about the route. The bikes were in great condition, well maintained and comfortable to ride. The surrounding area offers breathtaking views and well marked trails, making the start of the hike pleasant and smooth. I would highly recommend this service to anyone who wants to explore the area in an active and fun way.

Small and cozy cabin off the beaten tourist track

The Tenente Giuseppe Fabbro refuge, located at an altitude of 1,783 metres, is located on the Razzo plateau, near the Ciampigotto saddle. It is nestled between the Cadore and Carnia mountains, surrounded by large expanses of rhododendrons, blueberries and mountain pines. It offers fascinating panoramic views of the Frison valley and the surrounding peaks, including the Brentoni and Terza Grande. the Alta Via 6 of the Dolomites passes by this refuge which represents an ideal base for relaxing walks and beautiful excursions on equipped alpine paths and routes. The kitchen offers home-made dishes such as canederli, casunziei and game, accompanied by Venetian wines.
