Definitely wonderful for mountaineering

There's always something going on here! :) Live music, events, and hut fun are all part of the program. The decor is absolutely worth seeing, and the food is excellent! A true highlight on the Penken!

The Loschbodenalm is an ideal place for a relaxing rest amidst the mountains. In a traditional alpine atmosphere, you can enjoy regional delicacies and peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the hiking trails. Whether for a short break or as the end of a relaxing hike, the alpine pasture invites you to savor the moment and recharge your batteries. The sunny terrace of the Höllensteinhütte is a particularly pleasant place to linger.

This chapel is not simply dedicated to the Virgin Mary, but often has additional titles that dedicate it to a church festival such as her "Immaculate Conception", birth or ascension. The patronage here, however, has a special addition: of the rosary. This refers to a prayer that was very popular in popular piety in earlier times and is still practiced today in many parishes and private households - at least by the older generation. It is particularly popular on pilgrimages on foot, for example, because the repetition of the individual sentences by the prayer leader and the response of the praying people easily creates a meditative atmosphere.
