Born and died in Bertinoro, Arnaldo Pambianco known as "Gabanin" was a famous professional cyclist, much loved in these parts. Today he is remembered through writings on the asphalt, banners and even a mural in the center of the town. Winner of the Giro d'Italia in 1961, Pambianco was a Salvarani teammate of Gimondi and Adorni.
