Gateway Roncà, small village but known for its great wines. Eastern gateway to famous Roncà and Soave wine estates.

Columnar basalt with pentagonal and hexagonal section. Columns tens of meters high originating from eruptions in the Oligocene and subsequent slow cooling of the magma inside the volcanic chimney. Visible in the center of San Giovanni Ilarione and brought to light from a quarry that has been in disuse for about a century.

Beautiful flowing gravel section that runs alongside the river, highly recommended.

A town of about 7,000 inhabitants in the province of Verona, Soave is famous throughout Italy for the wine of the same name and the Scaligero castle. It probably owes its name to a transliteration of the medieval Italian word that defined the Swabian people and boasts some places of great beauty, such as the Palace of Justice.

Between Montecchio Maggiore and Arzignano, in the Vicenza area, the Guà river is accompanied by a beautiful paved cycle path immersed in nature. Wide and well maintained, the cycle/pedestrian path does not have any challenging slopes, making it suitable for everyone.
