Tschiertschen was voted the most beautiful mountain village in Graubünden following an appeal by the tourism association. On the one hand it is beautifully rustic, just as you would imagine, but on the other hand it is lively - and not just with tourists. In addition to pretty houses, there is a village shop and a cultural center. In summer, Tschiertschen is a great starting point for hikes and bike tours, and in winter there is a small but nice ski area.

Has everything, can do everything: the village shop in Tschiertschen. There's coffee, Kägi Frett, pretzel sticks, a smile from the cashier, a chat with the villagers - and a fountain with cool water and a bench next to it right in front of the shop.

The church is at the end of a chain of old Walser houses on a hill. However, this magnificent ensemble has been disfigured in recent decades by new buildings in the hollow below this building arrangement. The mountain village, which now seems a bit morbid, missed a great opportunity in the 1980s.

Coffee? snack? Kaegi Frett? A little chat with the residents of Tschiertschen? Everything is available in the Primo village shop. Plus: fresh well water directly in front of the store and a shady bench.

A nice restaurant in winter as well as in summer. Lots of delicious food! In summer you can also rent scooters in the chicken heads and ride down to Tschiertschen in the village - it's a lot of fun and definitely worth it, because you don't have to walk down!
