7월 1, 2025, Kyburg Boundary Stone (1747)
This boundary stone from 1747 is remarkably well preserved. The County of Kyburg was a dominion within the Holy Roman Empire. Later, the county fell to the Habsburgs, until finally the city of Zurich acquired it. In 1798, the county was dissolved as an administrative unit during the Helvetic Republic and the French invasion.

The Husemersee is surrounded by nature and a popular destination for hiking enthusiasts. A special highlight on the route is the picturesque wooden bridge that leads past the lake. From here you have a breathtaking view of the sparkling water. The bridge is not only a great vantage point, but also a perfect place to take a short break and enjoy the peace and quiet of the surroundings. Whether for a relaxed hike or a short detour - the Husemersee with its charming bridge is always worth a visit!

The cave was first examined around 1898 by Mr. Stauffer from Frauenfeld. His research back then apparently remained fruitless. It was only large-scale excavations by the geologist Emil Stauber between 1934 and 1935 that yielded charcoal-containing layers with material from the Middle and Younger Stone Age, as well as from the Roman period. This Kyburgerstein is mentioned on the list of cultural assets of the municipality of Laufen-Uhwiesen. It is very well preserved and dates from 1781.
