Hearst Castle, once an impressive home to businessman William Randolph Hearst, is now a museum with sweeping views of the Santa Lucia Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. There is a road leading up to the mansion, with an observation deck on its east end, worthy of a stop to take in the incredible views.

Los Osos Valley, nestled between southern San Luis Obispo and Baywood-Los Osos, is beautiful, with the town of Los Osos at its heart. As you ride along this stretch of road, you will see fantastic views of the Irish Hills to the south and five of the Nine Sisters volcanic mountains to the north. Flowing through the valley, Los Osos Creek opens up into southern Morro Bay.

This is an especially scenic section of the Cabrillo Highway, which is a section of the famous Pacific Coast Highway.

The Salmon Creek Waterfall is a small, but scenic waterfall. To access it, you need to take a short detour off the Salmon Creek Trail.

It is a nice cabin, clean, quiet. No food options except breakfast of hard boiled eggs, breads and juices.

San Luis Obispo has a beautiful downtown area. The tree lined streets are full of restaurants, cafés, and bars. It is a great place to go for a walk, people watch, or visit some wonderful boutique shops.
