Its roots lie in the Greek colonizations of the 6th century BC. in Magna Graecia. It houses ancient treasures such as the Roman Theater and the Borraca Tower, built in the Byzantine age. With a fishing tradition and an important agricultural history, this location is today appreciated as a summer tourist destination for its golden beaches and crystal clear sea.

Mammola is nestled between Aspromonte and the Calabrian Serre, characterized by paths that climb uphill or plunge downhill, offering breathtaking views. The historic center, with its ancient streets and architecture, offers a suggestive view and testifies to the rich history and tradition of the town.

The Roccella seafront, extending for almost 4 km, is one of the jewels of the Locria Ionian coast. Starting from the Piazzetta delle Colonne and heading towards the port, you can observe various works of art. Dominating from above, the Pizzofalcone tower and the Carafa Castle stand out on the cliff.
