The Val di Neto cycle/pedestrian bridge provides a safe and scenic crossing of the Neto River valley floor along the cycle path.

From the point of view of planning longer cycle routes (e.g. the Lorica–Villaggio Baffa–Taverna loop), the spring serves as a strategic hydration point.

The source is located on the forest section of the bike trail between Lorica and Villaggio Baffa, near the Monte Zingomarro massif (1506 m). It is a densely forested mountainous area far from towns and infrastructure, with no access to shops, bars or houses.

Santa Severina is an ancient village considered one of the most beautiful in Italy. It stands on a cliff in the middle of a valley between the Ionian sea and the Sila mountains, and has Greek origins. It is dominated by the majestic castle, built in the 11th century by Robert Guiscard, the Norman king who conquered the city from the Byzantines.
