Between Sampieri and Marina di Modica the burned factory of the former Pennna furnace stands out in all its grandeur. Beautiful beaches precede it and right in front of it there is also a cliff where you can admire the sunset and take a dip

It used to be a factory but it has since been demolished. From there you can start lovely runs on the beach or on the path along the sea🤩.

One of the most beautiful beaches in the whole area. It's very nice to jog there in the morning at sunrise 🤩 when the beach is still empty.

The old industrial ruin is cordoned off but rather patchy. A careful visit is worthwhile. Please respect this place as a meeting place with the past.

Very nice beach in the immediate vicinity, a lost place and a noisy sea water hole ;-) - that's 3 reasons!

Do NOT enter the area on a windy/stormy day. Bricks and stones can fall down, from the walls and the chimney. This is a lost place. So never go in there alone. Watch your step! There are holes in the ground.
