The Co-Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta is the religious hub of Bisignano, in Calabria. Characterized by a Norman architectural design, the cathedral has suffered damage from earthquakes, but still retains precious elements such as the pointed arch portal and interiors decorated with religious scenes. It is an integral part of the archdiocese of Cosenza-Bisignano.

The Cathedral of Bisignano, the heart of the town of the same name, is an important historical testimony. Built in the XIII century, it represents a fundamental part of the cultural heritage of Bisignano.

Very ancient city, dating back to the 8th century BC. which rises on the Pancrazio hill, in the valley of the Crati river. City rich in monuments and history. Not far away, in Rende, is the campus of the University of Calabria, which makes the area a lively urban agglomeration.

Malvito Castle is a medieval fortress built by the Lombards between the 7th and 8th centuries on a hill overlooking the surrounding valleys. It was later enlarged by the Normans, who made it the seat of a county, and after being abandoned in the 18th century it was restored in the 1980s.
