The Ferrera or white water cave consists of a collapse room divided into two parts, approximately 190m long in total and up to 40m wide with gigantic boulders detached from the ceiling.

Visited in winter, it offers beautiful views of the Imagna Valley as well as the Lecco and Valtellina mountains. Rich in wild fauna and flora that inhabit the woods and meadows, in the summer it is filled with grazing animals. In the snow it offers excellent routes for snowshoeing, while in the summer it offers peaceful walks. There is no shortage of peaks to climb and of course the fantastic gorges that can be seen directly from the road that climbs from San Giovanni Bianco. It goes without saying that the cheese here is good!
