Beautiful pools with crystal clear water. Trail 15b (Lake Trail) repeatedly crosses the stream, often with fixed chains; waterproof boots are highly recommended, especially in the less warm months.

the former Strada delle Vacche was the only way to get to Ballabio before the current SP was built. Over time the road has deteriorated and today you can only pass by bike. Definitely better than the provincial road, for those who go MTB/Gravel.

The beach is free but there is also a lido where you can rent comfortable sunbeds and where there is also a bar

Piazza San Giorgio is the town’s central square that houses the Church of San Giorgio. The church was built in the 14th century in a style somewhere between Romanesque and Gothic and houses numerous paintings from the late 15th and 16th centuries.
