The only original element of the village that had been preserved, together with the adjacent rectory. I read that it was done for superstition as well as protest by the inhabitants. Evidently it was not enough ..

The only remains of the original village are the church and the parish church, the rest was demolished to make room for the park. They had left it as a good omen, evidently it wasn't enough for them!

It was the church of the municipality of Cosonno and is today the only building that has not suffered degradation after the abandonment of the eccentric structure built by Count Mario Bagno who wanted to transform this small village into a mecca of gambling and perdition.
