The Perus lake is located at the pass of the same name (1300 m) which connects the San Martino Valley and the Imagna Valley. The name is in Bergamo dialect and means "hole", indicating a rather narrow passage. This part of the town is beautiful. Especially with the lake view and the mountains around. The rest of Lecco is not as beautiful in my opinion. If you’re around I recommend to stay near the lake because it can be very beautiful in this area.

It is worth taking a trip to Piani di Artavaggio. A great place for families with small children.

Coming towards Lecco from the north, after a truly awful stretch of road, this modern bike path makes up for some of the stress of the cars before! Very nice view in all directions!
