Colle San Maffeo, with a fantastic view (the climb through the woods is very challenging in the first section due to the steepness and loose rocks, at least for those with a strong body)

Nice little bridge...but also fun to wade

Both the internal and external walls present cycles of fifteenth-century frescoes depicting the Virgin, the saints and also the crucifixion of Jesus. The semicircular apse with arches presents a cycle of well-preserved sixteenth-century frescoes depicting the mystery of the Annunciation, the series of the apostles with Christ Pantocrator with the globe of the world at his feet.

The church of San Martino did not have a bell tower, but only a bell tower made up of two small plates raised on the wall of the arch with a single bell. The current bell tower dates back to 1735-36, erected on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the miracle of the "Madonna delle Grazie", painted just inside the side door, which in 1705 had prodigiously sweated blood.

The Church is one of the rare examples of minor Romanesque art present in the area. The apse chapel which opens under the triumphal arch suggests that the construction date was between the end of the 12th century and the beginning of the 13th.

Locally, instead of following the tracks, you can also take the paved path above, which is actually nicer (see photo).
