철탑 구조물은 높이가 약 11미터에 달합니다. 높이 1.1미터의 콘크리트 기초를 포함하여 탑의 총 높이는 12미터입니다. 전망대까지의 계단은 처음에 총 44개의 계단으로 이루어진 3개의 계단 구간으로 이어지며, 각 계단은 높이 17cm, 너비 108cm입니다. 높이 7.5미터에서 계단은 전망대를 거쳐 총 9개의 계단으로 이루어진 좁은 나선형 계단으로 이어집니다. 이 계단은 각각 높이 24cm, 너비 80cm입니다. 전망대는 기초 위 9.7미터, 지면 위 10.8미터에 위치합니다. 전망대의 크기는 4 × 4미터입니다. 탑 지지대의 평면도는 기초 부분의 3.75미터에서 전망대 부분의 2.35미터까지 위로 갈수록 좁아집니다.

Visited again today – the Josefswarte on the Hinterer Föhrenberg is a classic observation tower in the Vienna Woods, offering panoramic views over Vienna, the Vienna Basin, and the surrounding hills on a clear day. However, the tower is currently closed for necessary maintenance.

A sunny meadow in the middle of the forest – perfect for stepping out of the shade for a moment and enjoying the warmth. Here you can sit in the grass, let your gaze wander over the surroundings, and observe birds and insects. Ideal as a short break during hikes, runs, or bike rides.

The former Seewiese inn in the Föhrenberge Nature Park has been empty for several years and is increasingly falling into disrepair – it is currently not possible to stop for refreshments. A quiet, somewhat melancholic landmark along the trail, it evokes memories of earlier excursions and is now only used as a landmark and photo stop. Please observe the barriers on site and do not enter the building.

Now known as the "Black Sheep," it once again boasts a small but fine menu. Open Thursdays to Sundays from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., but only in good weather. It's usually closed when it rains.

The inn has been closed for several years due to extensive structural damage, which, according to the tenant, was concealed by the previous owner. A reopening is not in sight. The building stands empty and is increasingly deteriorating.

The Gießhübler Heide is a beautiful natural gem on the edge of the Vienna Woods. Formerly a cattle pasture, it is now a popular starting point for hikes and nature experiences.
