The Neuruppin Water Tower is a striking landmark of the city – once the technical heart of the water supply, today a place for adventure and panoramic views. Built in the late 19th century, the tower originally served the city's water supply. Standing approximately 50 meters tall and featuring typical brick architecture, it is an impressive example of the engineering structures of the Gründerzeit (late 19th-century boom period). Lake Ruppin covers an area of 8.25 km² and is 14 km long, making it the longest lake in Brandenburg. Its maximum depth is approximately 24 m. A roughly 25 km long circular path leads around the lake, inviting hikers and especially cyclists to explore. To the south of the lake lies Wustrau, a village of about 1,100 inhabitants, which is well worth a visit. This bathing spot at the lower end of Lake Ruppin near Alt Friesack is particularly charming and offers plenty of space. Plenty of sun as needed, or shade from larger trees. Stunningly beautiful rocks along the shoreline don't interfere with entering the water. There are many niches. In fact, there are several bathing spots lined up next to each other here. Note: It's also a real highlight as a viewing point. Treading water would be a good alternative, as the entrance is quite shallow.

Definitely worth a trip, especially in summer. The scenery is fantastic!
