Here film sections of Lord of the Rings were filmed. Rivendell is the name of the film and this place can be seen again and again in the movies. If you are there then, you can not really imagine everything .. It was of course synonymous in the film edited. For example, the waterfalls seen in the film were filmed in Fjordland / NZ.

A beautiful park for a day trip. There are parking lots, picnic areas and toilets in different parts of the park. You can make a very nice hike along the Hutt River or go on many other recreational activities. An absolute must for all Lord of the Rings fans. (Film location The Lord of the Rings) Have fun
