Ride carefully on your racing bike, as it's cobbled and slippery, especially when wet. But anyway, it's worth getting off and looking down into the valley to the right and left of the bridge. The bridge itself is cool. The structures from the old days are always astonishing.

Be careful of cars with yellow license plates. They often drive in the middle of the road. This can make it difficult and dangerous to get a bicycle.

The ruins offer a spectacular panoramic view of the Allgäu Alps and the surrounding landscape. Very tough but short approach and descent, which requires good fitness, otherwise you have to push your bike on certain sections. Cars also drive on the narrow road, so it gets tight in some places and you have to dismount here. The effort is worth it!

From here you have a very nice panoramic view over Nesselwang before you start the descent.

If you drive this road, you automatically take the ascent to the Alatsee with you. In the direction of Füssen, this rather narrow forest path mostly leads slightly downhill. The tarmac is easy to drive on, but is showing its age with a few bad spots. Because of other cyclists and hikers, you can't really rush here, but it's still much nicer than the main street with its many cars. Overall nice and quiet forest path.

Hohenschwangau is more “rustic” than Neuschwanstein because it is fully developed, easier to reach and a little less crowded.

At the Tannheimer Cycle Marathon, it's the final ascent at km199 and it's really tough. Without the 199km before but a really nice and short pass. Please make sure to turn around when going up. The super panorama is behind you :-)
