Santa Cristina Gela is a small town in the Sicilian hinterland, famous for its village festivals. There are numerous moments of the year in which folkloristic and food and wine rites populate the squares. The Magna Via Francigena passes through here.

One of the capitals of the Madonie park, Collesano is home to the museum dedicated to the Targa Florio car competition, suppressed in the seventies, of which it was one of the main passages. Of particular interest are also St. Peter's Basilica, the archaeological and environmental site of Monte d'Oro and the medieval castle. Mountain biking is very popular here, thanks to the local team "ASD Madonie Bike".

"Baarìa" in the local dialect, nicknamed "City of Villas" due to the enormous quantity of Baroque style residences, Bagheria has over 50,000 inhabitants and a well-known seaside hamlet, Aspra. Of particular interest is the Guttuso Museum, in which there are many works by the artist Renato Guttuso, who was born here in 1911. Many films by another son of the city, Giuseppe Tornatore, were shot here: the best known is "Nuovo Cinema Paradise".
