Tickets can be easily booked online. There's also a summer toboggan run, an adventure playground, a mini golf course, a kiosk, and a fairytale forest. There's something for everyone!

We had been here in March 2022. The park only opens its shops at Easter. Unfortunately we could not climb the tower and let the view wander. It's a shame, but we'll be back again 😊

A beautiful forest with lots of extras, the recreation area of Surwolds Forest is a widely popular destination for family outings. Generations compete at mini golf, young and old have fun on the 300 meter long summer toboggan run and while the children romp around on the playground with a 32 meter high observation tower, parents enjoy nature. Other attractions of the 34 hectare facility are a fairytale and a climbing forest as well as the heated forest outdoor pool.

We used to come here with my parents when we were kids, then later with our kids. And soon we can come back with our grandchildren 😅

Heath farmers with their flocks of sheep and goats have shaped the landscape for centuries. Young trees were bitten by the goats so that the heather could develop optimally. The goats didn't like juniper. The result is a beautiful heathland that has been preserved here despite modern agriculture and forestry. Please note that you can only enter the juniper grove from Friday, 2 p.m. to Sunday. It is located on military grounds and the paths are only open at these times.
