The late Romanesque church tower is the oldest part of the church. The portico on the nave from 1821-23 with its four Ionic columns is a rather unusual sight.

A freight lorry, also known as a tipping lorry or lorry (formerly also spelled Lowry), is a rail transport wagon that is primarily used to transport bulk goods such as sand and overburden.
