Attention!! The climb up the cobblestones to the private entrance of the castle is pedestrian only and does not appear to be permitted for bicycles.

One of the symbols of Manta, this tower served as a guard for the medieval mastiff. Towards the end of the 19th century it was adapted into a bell tower with a large clock. Despite its unpretentious appearance, it is visible from every part of the town.
