A very scenic spot. You can see the coast and the various mountains in the area clearly, and it's easy to reach. Worth a visit...

Stunning landscape, it doesn't even seem like we're in Italy... It reminds me of Mongolia. Especially when wild horses graze nearby. If Monte Strega has a certain charm, well I'd say the ridge from Strega to Monte Cilio is certainly no less fascinating! Definitely in the top spots in my ranking.

Monte Rotondo is a solitary mountain in the municipality of Sassoferrato, easy to reach. An undemanding mountain or hill with trails suitable for everyone. Perfect for a short ride and maybe a picnic with a beautiful view. Doable in half a day.

The view when you reach the summit is not surprising, because the summit cross - which seems almost gigantic and can therefore be seen from afar - crowns Monte CATRIA and is unmistakable. But despite its enormous mass, the cross erected here does not seem overwhelming at all; in fact, due to the steel framework construction (the most famous example of which is the Eiffel Tower in Paris), it appears almost delicate.
