Celso Gilberti Alpine Refuge

The Rifugio Giacomo di Brazzà is located on the Montasio Plateau, in the Julian Alps. It offers typical Friulian cuisine and overnight accommodation, can be reached from Sella Nevea, and is the starting point for the Sentiero Attrezzato Ceria-Merlone. The hut offers a place of rest and relaxation after the steady climb. On the northern slope of the Cacciatore peak on the Pellegrino path which leads to Monte Lussari (1790 m - Luschariberg), which has always been the destination of many pilgrimages by Italian, Slavic and German believers. The unique place at the summit with bars and small shops shows the attraction of the Marian pilgrimage church and the place for pilgrims and hikers alike.
