Cimon del Cavallo or Cima Manera (2251 m) is the highest elevation of Monte Cavallo, in the Col Nudo-Cavallo Group, a vast and articulated massif, composed of various peaks between which crests and forks are interposed. It is the peak par excellence of the Pordenonesi, distinguishable from any place on the plain. Monte Cavallo was conquered for the first time in 1726 by two botanists: Giovanni Girolamo Zannichelli and Domenico Pietro Stefanelli.
