The Church of San Matteo in Laigueglia, an 18th-century Baroque masterpiece,

Laigueglia and Alassio are connected by a beautiful seafront promenade, recommended for its short length and the view it offers of the Baia del Sole.

The Capo Mele Lighthouse, located on the promontory between Laigueglia and Andora (SV), is a historic maritime signalling structure built by the Civil Engineering Corps in 1856.

Beautiful town with a fantastic basilica. Many stairs leading up, 3 interesting restaurants, many narrow streets, a great experience.

A beautiful hike to Pairola. Then it's a rather shaky route to Monte Quagli...and just before that, the road is closed: private area! That meant back to Pairola and then off to the beach. It's a shame that it's no longer easy to report this. Perhaps the new management will improve things. We've seen all this before, haven't we?
